Special Memorial Day Ride to Quabbin

Hey everyone,

Riding to Quabbin Reservoir, ~56mile, recreational pace, no drop ride, nothing too serious for climbing but a lot of it! Departing from the shop, 8:30am (no evening ride, sorry). Shop won't open until 10 so make sure you have plenty of nurishment, water, tubes, CO2 cartridges ahead of time. Please no headphones and park in the Pride/shops parking area.

Memorial Day Ride

Hello all!

The shop will be open on Monday if people want to meet up for a group ride.  Some people have suggested going in the morning instead of at 5:30, respond to this blog or the club facebook so people can use the posts as a forum to coordinate.  Deb will be leading the only official group (C pace) in either the morning or evening based on interest.  For A and B rides people are encouraged to get together at one of the agreed upon times and go out for a ride, use the blog or facebook to communicate with each other.

2014 CEC Group Rides

Hello all,

Apologies for all the confusion as we are in a transitional period in both the club and in our shop.  Our Monday night group rides have officially started, with A, B, and C groups leaving from the Competitive Edge parking lot at 5:30.  Click the links below for the route maps of each group in the month of May.  The B and C rides are no-drop, with the B averaging 17-19 mph and the C averaging 14-16 mph.  The A ride is a drop ride averaging 20-22 mph.  On Wednesday nights there will also be a women's ride (C pace) leaving at 5:30 from the Competitive Edge parking lot.  For future updates please reference this blog or the Competitive Edge Cycling facebook page (different from the shop page).  If you have any questions contact Brian Fuller at the store.
